Do you think frequent trips to Y!A election section is stopping people from getting over the fact Obama won?

Seems like people on here keep revisiting their dislike for Obama. Keep revisiting their false hopes, rallying each other up. But it doesn't change anything...

Lets take a serious look at this, yes there is freedom of speech but everything said, hatred towards obama and or his supporters are not going change anything.

This question is specifically about Obama and election and frequent trips to Y!A. Please don't throw in irrelevant history / info.

It's not just Y/A, it's every Internet forum. Republicans tune into Free Republic and FOX News and right-wing talk radio for their daily fix of irrational Obama hatred. The GOP has an interest in keeping that resentment smoldering, keeping hate alive. They will be supplying right-wingers with false accusations, lies and taunts for the next four years, and you'll see 'em all here ad infinitum. Just as they did with Clinton.

The accusations you see here of Obama's birth certificate being fake, etc., are not the cause, they are the result. And you'll see more lies posted again and again, like this one, as the Republican smear agents come up with them.

Did frequent trips to Y/A play a part in the Bush haters maintaining their obsessive hate for Bush and Republicans?

Obama supporters bashed the hell out of conservatives and Bush over these last 8 years. You don't call people the names that liberals called conservatives these last 8 years and expect respect in return.

Ever think people has a right to do the same thing regarding Obama as others did and still doing to Bush. What goes around, comes around and it is the right side's time to bash Obama. Can't stand the heat, get out of the kitchen

    It's pretty pathetic, I think.

The hatred and stupidity expressed by some people is pretty stunning. Still, if people want to waste their time ranting, asking moronic questions, it's their life.

Better that they're on Y/A than calling into the Rush Limbaugh show.

    I agree with Geri's answer.

That said, if McCain had won, all the Obama supporters would be lined up on here doing exactly what you say that the non-Obama voters are doing. There would be non-stop nasty questions about McCain and Palin.

    The sword cuts both ways.

Absolutely!! It's a place for Obama haters to meet up with other Obama haters and perpetuate the hate. It won't die down on here because they get each other all riled up again over the same false information. It doesn't even matter if the truth is right in front of them because they aren't interested in anything other than conspiracy and hatred for everything Obama!

I don't think people are not "getting over the fact Obama won"..... people will do what they will do.

I think they realize he won, but perhaps some are clinging to hope that he will be "found" to not be a natural born citizen

I dont get it? What you're trying to say is that only people who LIKE Obama should go on Yahoo Answers? Whether you love Obama, you hate him or you dont mind him.. that shouldnt stop you from going on Y!A. =/

Unfortunately there is lot of hate & racism towards Obama, but not everyone who doesnt agree with his views are spewing hatred or encouraging racism. I think everyone should take an interest in what goes on in their countries.

I bet alot trolls are people who 'like' Obama too.

You are also at fault by adding insult to injury. Quit asking and bringing it up and realize you won and we'll all deal with it no matter what.
