I have been working in job for over a year but i have no contract do i need one?

    Its not about trust - they are legally obliged to provide you with a contract after three months of employment. A company that chooses not to give contracty and in effect break the law is not a good company to work for.

    You don't always get a contract with your employment.

    If you have an issue with your employer, contact ACAS, the government body to settle these issues

    You have an implied contract. Try for a written contract.
