1995 mazda 323f BA 1.5 GLX: performance?
Hi, had the car for about a month, I know its only 90HP (when new) but it feels sluggish. Would a K&N fliter make much difference?

Also, the tacho goes to 7000rpm but it feels like I should be changing at about 2500rpm. Any advice on how hard I can safely rev it and any go faster goodies?

Be sure your timing is set correctly. If it feels sluggish and not revving then there is definitely an issue looking to be solved. If you arent familiar with it, maybe search for a local 323 club. There are always gearheads willing to tinker on other cars for a few beers or something.
