Two knockers, yes, of course! And why did I not think about a cat flap? Can't stop thinking about a cat flap now - excellent idea.

Okay, are you comfortable with your current knob? Is it the color change of the door that makes you think you need a bigger knob? Or is it something else altogether??
I also thought of Paint It Black when I read the question.

A believe a knocker would do just the trick, and to be candid, I don't think you'd need a bigger knob in the first place.

a knocker would do fine but i believe by law that you are required to also install a doorbell
