Definitely...here you spend your christmas with almost everyone...your family, relatives, friends and even neighbors...in other countries, it's basically spending christmas alone or with your family only...

Pinas has been affected by commercialism same way as other western countries...but the tradition will never die down...the merry makings...countless reunions and parties...simbang gabi...puto bungbong and bibingka...gift-givings and sharing...

1. You are a Filipino like me who has been away from the Philippines for over 5 years.

2. You have friends & family or fond memories of Christmases over there.

3. You are Christian or Catholic.

4. You have some money to burn

I agree completely. Back in the states there are no carollers, no nativity scenes and nothing but commercialism. We don't have to worry about our rights to celebrate Christmas being taken away by some godless atheists !

Having spent 12 christmas holidays near Pampanga my answer is definitely yes.

NO i got robbed here. I thought ill spend xmas like the way i did before. I almost died. We got at gun point. Lost more than $5k++

just want to go back to cali again. Its not safe anymore. even our street has a tanod because the robbers one by one robbed the homes here. to think its a "safer: village than others.

absolutely! you know why? because the philippines is the only country which celebrates the season from September to January.

i say yess. partly because i've only spent christmases here in the U.S and back there. but here in the U.S, it's sooo lonely. in the philippines, it's really lively. we play games, eat with the wholeeee block and that sorta stuff.
