what would u think if ur significant other said...?

that would make me feel like he doesnt think i look good enough for him and him only. that he measures his OWN worth by how others see you.

I take it that someone's significant other wants them to lose weight and made that statement. What I would think depends on whether or not I agree with them. If I had a boyfriend and he thought I was heavy and he make a statement like that, I'd lose some weight if I agreed with him. If I thought I looked just fine, and that I was not heavy, I would stay the same. But, I would consider how I looked when I met him. It's not fair to be obese (without medical justification), when he met me with a slim build. Also, I would consider how he looks and whether he too needs to lose some weight. If so, maybe we could do it together.
