Darfur and how does it affect you?

any time a group of people are being slaughtered in this world it affects all of us, because we are all part of the same race, the human race. it is heartbreaking that this part of the world is ignored by the globlal community, it doesn't do any good just to label what is going on in Darfur as "genocide" if no one is willing to step up to put a stop to it, america doesn't want to bloody our hands. no oil involved.

It hasn't affected me. But it does make me mad that no one seems to care about what has happened there. And no one seems to want to admit that it is Arab Muslims attacking black non-Arabs. I guess it's too politically incorrect to say the truth. The UN might have passed some of their useless resolutions condemning the genocide, oh wait, maybe the UN won't classify it as genocide.

I would tell them I contribute to a fund to send supplies to the people there.....I write to my Congressmen to let them know I'm very concerned.

It's genocide and it's very sad.
