you can pull the plug and wait a bit, or get a paper clip and poke te little reset hole on the back of the router

You never specify the brand. But usually, router come with a small little tiny hole for you to reset by using a tiny sharp object like paper clip or needle.

there should be somesort of reset button.. (depends on what make and modle it is) you just have to stick a paper clip in, hold it for 10 secs and it goes back to factory settings
