Video one...... old x box....on the side of TV...red- yellow -white
Video two..... x-box 360...in the back (with the strange colors).blue -green- etc
on the set up screen.

Those "strange colours" are component connectors, they're high quality video connectors capable of carrying hi-def signals. The other ones are composite video, which is pretty low quality in comparison. If you have both connections, you can use both xbox and 360. But as someone else pointed out, you can play most old xbox games on the 360.
That's the whole point of having lots of connections on a tv, it allows you to connect all manner of external equipment at once. Obviously you can only use one at a time.

Yes you can - it was my understanding that the 360 plays old x-box games so I am not sure why you would need both....
