Car Steering Problems.. . .?
Hi, when i put my foot down a bit in my car the steering weel seems to pull to one side and when i release my foot of the gas it quickly corrects itsself, could this be the tracking?.. its only done it since i done a wheel spin around a corna in the rain, i got a feeling that its pushed the tracking out as like i said before when i put my foot down the car pulls to one side but it happens so quick its like iv turned my wheel really quick and i take my foot off and it seems to correct itsself. . . . any help would be great.
And yes its a front wheel drive and its only just started doing this... its an OLD car... the tracking was done about 4 months ago... and this started doing this about a day ago, the CV joints and CV boots are fine... the wish bones are fine and the bareings are fine as they just been replaced... only thing i can think of is the tracking. . . .
Agh the car vibrates alot when going at speed....

well id check the inner tie rod bushings, they are right on the rack and pinion, if one popped out there would be more steer to the side that needs replaced, bushings are only a few bucks if this is the case, putting them in is a bit tricky but involves no real special tools, just take your time and you could be fine, i dont imagine you could have thrown off the alignment enough to cause that type of problem, but it might be an option to check the alignment anyways, good luck

I doubt it is tracking. You have mentioned it happened since a wheel spin and I also doubt that is related. I agree that it sounds just like torque steer or a tyre which has warn on one side or that is defective. As long as you are getting no vibration at speed and the tread on the tyre is wearing evenly you should be OK.
Tracking is normally obvious by the car pulling to one side when you are already in motion NOT when pulling away (remember the camber in the road can make the car pull slightly).

No idea but do not mess about get it checked by the agent or a competent garage. The last think you want (or indeed may get) is for you to turn the wheel one way and the car go another

It's most likely the alignment and that can be easily fixed. The brakes may also be causing this problem.

You have a lower suspension arm rubber bush split or damaged. Or the ball joint damaged on the suspention arm

its called torque steer...on some cars the drive shafts [FWD] are different lengths resulting in more power going to one wheel...nothing to do about it...

Check your rims. Sounds like it could be a warp wheel
