Can I find the weight of a liquid solution from it's specific gravity?

If a liquid solution has a specific gravity of 1.28, how much does a cubic foot of the solution weight?

    Everything's specific gravity is the density compared to water. As a rule of thumb, multiply the specific gravity of a liquid by 8.34 to find the weight.
