Has anybody heard about the Cabrera for Cameron trade?
What do you all think? I for one, am both sad and happy... I just like Melky myself but I know he's not very good so trading him for Cameron wasn't a bad deal. However, now they're saying the deal "isn't closed" yet because they need to work out salaries ---- so we're not even sure the deal will go through ---
What do you all think - Yankees fans or not?
I agree with you.. it's sad =[
I definitely wish they would keep him --- they just need to give him another chance, in my opinion. I'm really sad about this but what can I say???

From the Yankee fan perspective, I don't think any of us want this deal. Adding another aging outfielder to a team full of them? What exactly does Cameron bring us? Melky is a better defender, and Cameron's bat is incredibly over-rated. He's just alot more money for a little more offensive stability. Go out and spend the extra $10 million on Texiera and make us alot happier!

the yankee organization and the fans (like me) was saying that Melky was gonna be the next face of the franchise he was going to be a star center fielder he is so young and has so much potential that if they trade him for some old *** center fielder than they are really stupid.

im a yankee fan and im not really that happy with the deal. i like melky and i think he just had a bad season. they should give him more time, he's just a rookie. they cant expect him to be the next homerun king, they have to give him time and he'll be great.
