Old Barbie Dolls Need to be Cleaned?

I saved all of my Barbie dolls from when I was a kid for my daughter. Unfortunately, there was a stupid leak in our ceiling and they ALL got covered in nasty mold. I've been soaking them in diluted bleach, but they still need to be cleaned more. Does anyone out there think that I could put them in the dishwasher on the top shelf to sanitize them more...or would that really ruin them? They're pretty much ruined already, so I'm open to any suggestions. Thanks in advance!

The dishwasher might damage the hair, but the bodies should be fine. They might need a good scrubbing.

Oxy10 (or generic) benzoyl peroxide-based acne gel can be used to get stains out. It does have to be left on until it dries, and then re-applied several times to work.

If the mold really won't come out, it might be a better idea to buy some new/used dolls.
