just tell them to take you off their list..
they are not allowed to call back after that
or do this - (it takes a while for it to start working) https://www.donotcall.gov/

I know what you mean and as if it's not bad enough the automated ones call all the time also. I haven't figured out how to get those to stop. I have gotten the ones with the live person to stop by telling them to take me off the list however sometimes it takes 2-3 calls before I am no longer on the list

Don't ever give your cell number to anyone but family/friends and sign up on the Do Not Call Registry. It may take a bit for the calls to stop but (eventually) they will.
When they do call tell them they are in violation of the do not call registry, they usually hang up and stop calling.
Chances are you gave your cell number to a company that shares their customer's info with other parties (affiliated or not).
I hope this helps.

Get your number changed, then be careful who you give your number to. Do not use your number on any contest or other things on the internet. I entered a contest on the internet using my home number and i got a call from a telemarketer who signed me up for something I did not want. I had to file a complaint with the complaint commissioner for telecommunication to get out of it.

it's amazing they got the number in the first place. it's actually illegal in a small unknown to most way to call a cell if it incurs a cost to you. you just have to tell them. also- try not using your cell num to order stuff... sometimes something like ordering a pizza if you give them your name and num- some places sell info like that. i'm a bill collector- i knows all this stupid stuff. how to get it to stop tho once it starts is a pain. you're better off calling your carrier and change your number.

Register your numbers at the do not call website. It might take a month or 2, but the calls will eventually diminish. And ask them to take you off their list.

add the number to the no call list. There is a web site you can go to. Also when they call tell them to take you off of their call list. Hope this helps

if it's a machine, you can wait till it starts giving number options.. then, dial the number that is designated to remove you off the list. if it's a person, just tell them to take you off their list
