Will my psn account be deleted if I restore my ps3?

No if you restore your PS3 you wont delete your PSN account. The only thing that will be deleted is everything saved on the system. So you will need to if you choose to restore:

-download all the updates even the one included with the system

-all demos, videos, music, etc. that you had before will be deleted

-you have to start all your games all over again because everything is deleted

-sign in your PSN information account

-even if you have a USB Flash Drive you have to download everything from there which even takes a while

Also your PS3 will need to take some time to connect with PSN.

Are you sure you want to do this?? I mean, all this for HOME. Try turning off your PS3. And check again. Make sure you have all the updates and you check to see if HOME is in the PSN section on the XMB. I dont think you should do this but it's worth a shot.

Maybe you wont lose anything if you restore your PS3. Try................

No I had to do it. It won't get deleted. It will do the thing where it says to create a psn but all you do is go on it and say you want to sign in with an existing account.

You'll probably lose your Avatar, etc., but just remember, you can still access you're PSN, from you're computer, so there you go. And wouldn't it suck if you restored it, and it still wouldn't work.

Nope. Just log-in again once you've restored your PS3.

No. If you restore default settings, it will only restore the settings section. I do this all the time whenever I switch from an HDMI cable back to the regular cables.

Actually just did this 2 days ago, you won't lose anything except maybe the avatar and the nick name you gave yourself. No big deal.
