Should a 14-year-old boy be shot in the head for throwing rocks near soldiers?

Non-Jewish soldiers are not generally that nervous about either 14-year-olds or stone-throwing. Yesterday in Hebron Ya'qub al-Qusrawi was shot in the head and is now in critical condition. He was shot by a sniper firing from a concealed position. His mother concedes that he had in fact been throwing stones toward enemy occupation soldiers. But does this justify shooting a 14-year-old? What kind of "soldiers" are these?

This is almost a daily occurrence in Occupied Palestine. These ahem "soldiers" are actually encouraged to shoot children on whatever pretext however thin. The idea is they will otherwise grow up to propagate and contribute to what zionists call "the demographic threat". The official attitude is that they are all members of Future Terrorists of Occupied Palestine. Terrorist meaning any Palestinian who believes in freedom and self-determination; i.e. who wishes to overthrow the U.S.-backed colonial regime.

There is a good report on this "incident" on Ma'an News online, but you know,if you google up "14-year -old boy shot in head in Hebron" you will stumble across hundreds of such cases from the last three years alone.

By the way, this "incident" did not occur in a conflict situation. No combat,no threat posed,no crowd. He apparently tossed a few rocks at sub-soldiers who have no business in the Palestinian Territories anyway and later on "someone" shot the boy sniper-style,a truly courageous way to face off against so deadly an adversary. By the way,in the U.S. soldiers are not permitted to fire on civilians at all.

As to a normative code of behavior for armed forces, the IDF is simply beneath contempt. Yet they wonder why they go to Europe and people call them baby-killers.

Cannoli had answered you the perfect expected answer

some infants were shot in Gaza the answer was the same

A little boy was sleeping next to his father in his bed room ,he died of a shot ,then you must expect the same answer ,

I wish if i heard some saying that he is sorry , the maximum we hear an investigation is carried out,but unlikely to hear later that the investigation led to condemn at least such acts

the Kufr Qasem massacre is the example that might show you what to expect

Kufr Qasim is a small village inside the called green line,by 1957 as I recall the village was put under curfew by mid day for any reason under earth, by that time villagers were not at home ,they were in fields and know nothing about this curfew , by evening they were back ,and some Israeli soldier had stopped them at the village main entrance, they stopped one next to another for hours, through these hours the soldiers were consulting head quarters what to do with these villagers. later on all were shot and killed

of course there were an invistigation ,and later was a trial , all were pulled to see the Israeli justice how it will be applied

many pple attended this trial, including jornalists, and later it was a film .you see the judge at the end brought the verdict.what was it

" THE SOLDIER IS INNOCENT AND THE OFFICER HAS TO PAY HALF A PENNY" many of the court attendance has paid this half a penny to release the officer

    In Kufr Qasem

once you enter this village you may pass by a semi round about in which you see the names of the Palestinians are written on it

A very sad thing that keeps happening over and over again and what makes it worse those absurd excuses the pro-occupation people gives,by shooting the boy the soldier probably saved tens of lives! in this sense then all Palestinian should be shot to death, since resisting the unfair occupation is a death sentenced crime.

If someone agrees with the racist answer that Mr. Cannoli gave, we should put behind bars all the Jews because of the Lehman, the Goldman and all the other Jewish people that have destroyed the American economy.

Maybe the Jews are the Nazi greatest supporters after all.

I am very disappointed by the level of the Jewish hatred against those brave Palestinians.

Only War-Crime hearings will prevent these "people" from repeating atrocities of this kind.

    Greetings

    Edit

Does any of our Jewish friends have the courage of posting the killer's name here?

Yes here at Yahoo! Answers Travel section.

    Thank you

I think it can go both ways.

1- No, they shouldn't have shot him. They should have stopped and took time to figure out what was going on.

2- The mother shouldn't have let the kid throw the stones at the soldier. I would NEVER do that when I were that young. You should NEVER throw rocks at someone, I don't care how old or young you are.

But I'm sure the soldiers will get off free, like always, for hurting innocent people.

P.S.- I'm not trying to be mean. I just always try to see things from BOTH sides on every situation. I don't agree with the sides sometimes, but I'm trying to tell what they are probably thinking from both sides. Obviously is was wrong.

The kind that shoot into playgrounds, harass pregnant women at road blocks and shoot people for committing acts of insurgency such as trying to get to work or buy food.

Ordinary soldiers in other words.Ordinary soldiers in an occupying army. It is happening in Iraq too...in Afghanistan...it happens everywhere that soldiers occupy a country.

War turns good men into animals!

Of course not; nor should any government that permits this sort of thing be allowed to exist. Google up boy shot by israelis and you'll finds about a hundred of these cases. A kids with a stone is not a lethal threat to anyone least of all a presumed "soldier'.

They're nothing but ANIMALS with some mambo jumbo beliefs!

What makes me more disgusted, is the support of these jews here of such act and not even one of these creatures would condemn these conducts that takes place in courageous Palestinians lives on daily basis ( and the ones who've answered, prove our points! ).

I've always believed that, these jews/zions with their inhumane unjust and irrational behaviors are THE perfect replica of the NAZI.

Funny how these jews/zions calling others being NAZI!?

They've been brainwashed by the same conservative mentality that caused National Guardsmen to fire at protesting and non-protesting students at Kent State and Jackson State in May 1970.
