Can you recycle folders? (In real life, not on the computer!)?

As in, not on the computer.

I'm going through my old school books and folders, and I have a few folders where the metal bit is broken. Can I recycle the whole folder? Or do I need to pull it apart or something.

It's just a standard folder or a 'ring binder' from Bantex. I think it has a plastic covering though, but it's made out of cardboard.

Oh and can metal be recycled? xP

Thanks!

Yes metal can be recycled. I would pull it all apart. I think the only part that cannot be recycled is the plastic, since most cities only take 1 and 2 recycle numbers

if it has a plastic covering then most likely not.

if it just has the metal thing, try to cut those off.

but yes folders CAN be recycled & it's good that you're going through all your old school things and recycling considering how much we use up paper.

and metal? hm , i don't think so?
