Which is your favourite place to visit in Britain?

We have almost the whole World in miniature in the British Isles so, apart from searing heat and the ultimate in cold, we have so much choice.

My favourite parts of the Country (sorry - plural) are the extremes of Great Britain - Scotland and Cornwall (including the Isles of Scilly).

My favourite Tourist Attraction is the Telford area and "Ironbridge" in particular. Blists Hill Living Museum is a great place to take the family for a day out and on a lovely warm day a great place for a picnic. Ditto the Black Country Living Museum in Dudley - best fish and chips for miles around!

London

York is very nice. It is a pedestrianised historic town with some of the oldest preserved streets in the UK and has a stunning Minster.

But it depends what you're looking for. If you want to party, try London, Dublin or Manchester. If you want somewhere picturesque, try the lake district.

All you need is a Land Rover, a tent, a few sandwiches and a flask of coffee.

Jersey. Just a lovely lovely place. Fantastic food and great people.

Blackpool, I just love going there. Because it could possible one of the best seaside places im England and the pleasure beach is good also.
