Manchester has rejected a congestion charge, Should Londoners have a vote on ours to get rid of it?

I wouldn't personally want to get rid of it. Why would you drive in central London anyway (I can actually imagine hundreds of reasons why certain small numbers of people might actually, so maybe it is better to say - why would any average person want to drive in central London)?

And how does it not work? Its certainly reduced the traffic figures.

Seeing as it doesn't work. Of course a total ban on private vehicles in Central London might be better, but Boris will never do that will he.

democracy gone mad , perhaps the people of Manchester don't know what is good for the city . dont know the details of the scheme but it is not put forward with no good reason , those manchester boys are good experienced planners .
