Why are reporters claiming that Rahm is not cooperating with information?
Personally if the press invaded my daughters recital and started asking me questions about work i would brush them off as well. I just do not see a reason for that kind of intrusive nature just to figure out something and then claim he was uncooperative because of the response. He may be Chief of Staff to be but that is no excuse to bother the man while he is trying to watch his daughter. How can this be considered acceptable but he refusal talk to them isnt?
I am sorry and although i did not condone the actions regarding Sarah Palin, although much of that was her own doing, Rahm was in private mode with his daugther and family. Public life or not, that is not something I would just accept and say ok to the press while at the same time disrepecting the moment I was supposed to be having with my family.
If there is an investigation going on, why would it be prudent to comment on something that is not concluded? And there is no excuse for the press doing that nor is there any rational.

Imagine being Chief of Staff with an incoming President elect; during one of America's worst political, economical, social periods; commingled with two wars in the Middle East. Rahm Emanuel's schedule is closely tied to that of the future President. I wouldn't accommodate the tabloid press, as its a distraction. Besides, the federal investigators have nothing on Obama, Emanuel, and Axelrod. Remember this investigation has been ongoing for over 3 years.

Because they are pissed that he brushed them off. Too bad. I think he did the right thing. Tabloids are vile monsters anyway. As for his 'not cooperating'.... Obama has got an internal investigation going, they don't have to stop what they are doing every 2 minutes to deal with this. They have a lot of work ahead of them. Blagojevich is already being dealt with. BTW..... Where IS President Bush?

It's no worse than what the press did to Sarah Palin. Besides if you're out in public the press can legally go after you.

"I am sorry and although i did not condone the actions regarding Sarah Palin, although much of that was her own doing,"
yet u defend Rahm and his families right to privacy? he is a public figure also who is caught up in this scandal and needs to answer questions about his involvement or lack of involvement. palin's family was never off base. even if you didn't agree with it, i would be willing to bet you never spoke up against it.
this is the case, libs always defend and excuse. it is only necessary to question republicans. i see a double standard here too.

Because Rahm is not cooperating with information.
If you cooperated the press wouldn't HAVE TO invade your personal space to get close to you.
He may be Chief of Staff to be but that is no excuse to act like he's "above" us commoners.

because he isn't
