What are some good gift ideas for teenage girls?
I want to get my friends some good Christmas presents this year, but I'm out of ideas. My friend is getting us each a scarf, which cost about 5.50 each, in different colors. I like that idea but I don't want to copy her. Any suggestions ?

Bath Stuff – Some girls love to be pampered with their own special bath beads, bubblebath, lotion, and lip gloss. All of these items can be purchased at national dollar stores and retail chains, arranged in a pretty basket or gift bag, and provide them with a reasonable gift that they will definitely use. Wrap a filled basket with colorful tulle (Usually less than $1 a yard) and accent with curled ribbon for a pretty, feminine look beneath the tree. $10 can go quite a way if you shop for samples or trial sizes.
A Loaded Purse – Okay, so it won’t be loaded with money, but nothing is more appreciated than a purse with all the essentials. Choose a moderately sized model in a plain color and fill with sample sized hand lotion, a new brush, a cool wallet, a compact, a lipstick case, and anything else that you think would be an “essential” in a great carryable.
Journal and Keepsake Box or Scrapbooking Items – Let your teen record her life with a journal and keepsake box for treasures. Scrapbook items are also wonderful ways of showing a girl how unique and wonderful she is. All of these types of items are relatively cheap but will provide literally hours of entertainment.

Headbands. They're very popular these days, particularly because of Gossip Girl.
But instead of just buying people headbands, buy a bunch of cheap ones and decorate them! You can use things like feathers, ribbons, fake jewels, lace, veils, etc. to make totally interesting and unique items!
I was at a store recently in Ottawa that sold clothes by local artists, and the headbands there that were made by a 13year old were AMAZING. My housemate used the idea for a gift exchange for her lab group, and it was a huge hit!

You could buy little christmas 'things' at different stores and put them in little baskets! For example, gingerbread cookies, ornaments, or something else decorative! Then just buy little baskets and put plastic over them with a bow! Or if that's too expensive, you can buy cans of gingerbread cookie batter. I think they sell things like that. Or buy ornaments! You can find those cheap at places. I'm getting hyped up just thinking about Christmas!

Maybe a little bag with nail polish, nail files, and stuff like that. You can everything from the dollar store so it won't be too expensive.

If you have the money, I'd suggest going to Hollister or Abercrombie and letting them pick something out. A little expensive but...
