Is the pressure on the manger or players if the NY Yankees don't win a championship.?

neither the owners will feel the pressure because if the players dont perform giradi will hear it and if giradi hears it the the owner will hear it because he fired torre for giradi so if the yankees fail to win the al east(thats satisfactory for yankee fans these days) then people begin to question the owners decison making

Arod gets most of the criticism, even when he doesn't deserve it all. Yet, he has played a large role in choking in the playoffs. The pressure should be on both but all players should take responsibility as a team.

Players. They get paid obscene amounts of money and fail. The one person that gets it more though is the General Manager. If the Yanks don't win it all this year, (which they still probably won't) then Cashman won't. They paid a lot of money for guys that are not proven in the playoffs while Derek Lowe is still available (Mr. win all three clinching games in 2004).
