My laptop won't finish booting up, help please!?
I have a Dell B130 laptop with windows xp home. When I start it up it will boot all the way until it sees my wall paper and stops there. No icons on the screen, no menu, nothing but my wall paper photo. What should I do to make it go further so I can use it? Thanks for a quick response.

start in safe mode. go to c: drive icon in mycomputer. right click on icon choose properties. choose tools. choose automatically fix system errors. restart pc.
If same prob, go safe mode, do a defrag. then fix again and restart.
