ok..everything is back to like factory settings..everything i had installed such as yahoo internet , etc. is not there.

do not panic
nothing is lost- it just isn't working
try safe mode- hit f8 at boot time and do a roll back to when the machine was happy
or
get a copy of the operating system and perform a repair installation
worst case senario- take the drive out and use it a slave in another pc

System Error 32 means that one program was trying to access a file that another program had locked. Nothing should be lost - that "error" keeps the second program from damaging data being used by the first program. At very worst you may have to restart the computer.
