Would you date a blind or deaf person?

Yes i would if I felt a real attraction and knew that I could commit all the way. I certainly wouldn't treat it as any other relationship because it would have to have a much more emotional connection than anything else. In other words I couldn't put myself in the position to hurt them.

I would much rather date someone who is blind then someone who is deaf. This way our relationship would be based on personality rather then just looks. To be honest, I think the world would be a much better place if everyone were blind. Just think what that would do for race relations!!

I think it would be an interesting learning experience to date a deaf or blind person... Having to speak in sign language, or helping them to learn braille would be cool... For a blind person to say you are attractive, you know that would be from the heart... I would enjoy dating either one, and would praise them daily for living with such a difficult challenge...

I was married to a deaf man for about a year. He turned out to be very violent so I divorced him. Had nothing to do with him being deaf, he was just an ***. You'll have to learn sign language if you want to be included in conversations with his friends, Even if he's a lip reader you'll still want to be included in conversations.

I have a deaf friend. It is kind of a challenge, because you have to be concentrated all the time, trying to make her understand what you are saying. But, as a teacher, I enjoy trying to help and I think it is worth the try.

Of course, I wouldn't choose him because of this condition, I would choose him because of his heart and his personality.

I have grown up around american sign language so I am wicked at signing so a deaf girl yes

i work with a deaf guy and it has increased my desire to learn sign. but as far as dating someone i would go for it. just think you could have you own special way to talk that no one would hear or be able to understand. and if you learned how to sign then it would show a deeper love towards them. just my thoughts

blind advantage: you could look ugly, and your clothing wouldnt have to match.

disadvantage: having to bathe 4 times a day (heighten smell

sense)

deaf advantage: you could mutter under your breath around her and she wouldnt catch it

deaf disadvantge: pillow talk has to be with the lights on

yes, why not as long as she has a nice personality and a good heart
