how long is an average period?
iv'e only had one before and i only bled for 3 days. it's been five days as of today and it's still quite a bit. is this normal?

Yours is very normal. Everyone is different and the average is anywhere from 3-7 days.
My periods last 7-8 days (the 8th day only being spotting mostly).

Totally normal. The first period is usually light and short. Five and six days is perfectly normal dont worry. It can even last a week.

when u first get ur period, it is usually very light. the next time you get it, it is more regular and for MOST people it lasts for 4-5 days. but sometimes it lasts longer but its normal because everybodys body is differrent
