Why do people "assume"?

We don't know anything about you, your PC / laptop / webcam / messenger service / version / OS / country / ISP ... Etc....

I know people get frustrated when their PC's aren't working right, as do I.... There's a whole bunch of people that would like to help... But can you give more info on exactly what you want??
