My girlfriend and I got Plan B. ?

My girlfriend and I had sex last month and the condom slipped off at the end. I believe that a little semen may have gotten in her but I am not sure because there was a large spot on the blanket which I assumed was semen. Anyway, we took the plan b bill about 6 hours after because the pharmacy was not open yet. She of course took the second 12 hours after like the package said. When her period was supposed to come, about two weeks later, she had very heavy bleeding for about 2 days and then the period abruptly stopped. She was concerned and we took a pregnancy test four days after the period started. It was negative. I just wanted to hear someones opinions on this because she got a heavy bleeding period on time but she was concerned about the length.

It is perfectly normal for a woman to have a heavy period after taking Plan B. It's a good sign that she did get her period, and an even better sign that the pregnancy test came back negative.

If you want to test again, get another pregnancy test and take it first thing in the morning when her estrogen levels are highest. Your girlfriend should probably go to her doctor or to Planned Parenthood to get on regular birth control.

Plan B is a large dose of hormones so it's normal that she had an irregular period afterwards. I wouldn't worry due to the fact that she had her period 2 weeks later plus the negative pregnancy test : )

if shes not on the monthly pill then taking plan B will mess up her period. You don't have anything to worry about and things should be back to normal for her next month. The plan B does mess up your cycle a little bit but its very effective so as for being pregnant you guys are in the clear. and good job for being responsible

This exact same thing has happened to me before, and I also took the plan b pill, but it is actually normal for it to be heavy and short the next time after taking it. It worried me when it happened to me so I went and talked to my gynocologist, and she explained everything, and that is was perfectly normal, if you want to be for sure, just go in to the doctor, they will help, and reassure you that she is fine.

You guys should be fine! Don't worry. Sometimes women's periods get messed up. It's natural!

her period was probably messed up because of the plan b.

maybe she should get on the pill so this doesn't happen again?
