    no. 100mbps (100 megabits per second) is 10 times faster than 10mbps (10 megabits per second).

    They go over the same cable and 100mbps stuff is essentially always backwards compatible with 10mbps stuff.

    No, 10 mbps = 10 megabits per second

    100 mbps = 100 megabites per second

    mb = megabit

    MB = megabyte

    A bit is part of a byte (one of eight parts of a byte)

    A byte is an octet (eight parts)

    10 MBps = 100 mbps
