I recently lost 40 pounds. I started in May without an exact goal. By September I had reached the 40 pound mark. The hardest part was the will power. Each little thing I did added up to the big loss. I had to break a lot of very bad habits like eating in front of the T.V. And I had to keep STRONGLY telling myself that I didn't need the food that was jumping in front of my face. No more Super sizing at the takeouts, etc. I got rid of all junk food in the house, every bit of it. I am not good at exercise so this was not a crucial part of my regime. I used small dishes and consciously made servings that were exactly half of what I had previously been eating. I had to constantly fight the urge to go back for seconds. I am not a breakfast person so I continued to not eat in the morning. I had to fight the urge to eat in between meals, but the largest amount of weight came off in the first few weeks so that kept me working at it. I weighed myself EVERY day, sometimes more than once. I bought a scale that gave the weight measurements in pounds and tenths of pounds such as 185.3 That made each tenth of a pound noticeable and kept me really making an effort not to gain any weight. If I did gain (and sometimes I did) I was able to notice it immediately and work at reversing it. Sometimes it was very difficult and I had to keep reminding myself that not only was I losing weight, I was becoming healthier and I sure was beginning to feel better. It has become much easier because I have realized that I wasn't eating all that food out of hunger, but either out of habit or boredom. I am struggling a little at trying to stay at the weight that I have become very happy with. One way that works for me is to say out loud "am I really hungry and do I really need this". Most often the answer is "no" so I put it down and walk away. The physically walking away part is important. I don't stay near the food and let it tempt me over and over because when I do stay near the food I usually will give in and eat something that I really didn't need or want. I have resolve not to put the weight back on so I do continue to weigh myself every single morning. I gained 3 pounds over Thanksgiving, but because I caught it early (before it became 10 pounds) I was able to get it back off within a few days. I know I am not the weight Guru, but I just also know that I don't want to be even one pound heavier than I am right now and hopefully I won't get lazy and stop paying attention. Good luck to you.

If your not fat or anything like you say it shouldn't be too hard to drop a few more pounds...
Easiest way is to check your current diet and make some adjustments then up the amount of exercise you do... no need to try any fancy diets etc, just adjust the way you eat now and make it permanent. Then add either some jogging/swimming/walking etc (I also like skipping) in every day for 30-60 mins and im sure youll be set to loose some.

i'm no longer a swimmer, yet interior the years of enjoying activities, each and each coach i've got had consistently tossed in some swim time. Your utilising each muscle interior the physique to swim so it fairly is a great throughout physique artwork out. Now, the main nonetheless is to swim, no longer basically drift around. Doing laps alongside with a number of the water cardio instructions could get you on the appropriate course. undergo in recommendations nonetheless, no remember how great of a artwork out habitual you have it won't mean a component in the adventure that your ingesting rubbish all day! I.E, swimming for an hour without delay then having a dozen dough nuts for dinner. The artwork out & foodstuff plan/foodstuff artwork jointly. solid success!

As long as you don't overdue it you can usually eat as much as you want. What matters is what you eat, and that you keep what your eating consistent. Like don't eat a lot one day, and very little the next. Also, try to eat healthy foods and cut out things like chips, soda, snacks made with a lot of sugar, and don't drink beers all the time. Next start running, pretty much required for being healthy and skinny, and it doesn't have to be very much. After you start running and lose a few pounds, start a workout so that your body will start using up the food that you consume. It doesn't necessarily matter what workouts you do as long as it tires your muscles.

The best way to loose it is to eat healthy, and work out. There are really no tricks that are long lasting or that aren't going to do the opposite, so stay away from a lot of sugary things.

Weight loss and gain is basically what you consume (eat)vs what you use (exercise) or get rid of (bowel movement, urination, etc.). If you eat more than you eliminate you gain weight. If you eat less than you eliminate you lose weight.
Exercise more.
Eat healthier (foods with lower calories.)
Good Luck!

Move around more -- something you like (walk, swim, dance around the house, bike).
Get at least 8 hours of sleep every night (this is important!).
Eat lots of good stuff -- veggies, fruits, whole grains, low fat sources of protein. Avoid eating a lot of junk (fatty, sugary, non-nutritional stuff).
Have big portions of the good stuff; tiny portions of the junk.
