best DS games and why?

pokemon pearl and diamond

-because you can work hard on it and know other trainers around the world because its a really good game

if you like cooking:

cooking mama or gourmet

-its a good game because you can learn how to cook and there is some recipes that you might know

if you like dogs:

nintendogs or pets:dogs

-its good because you can really interact with the dogs and it have Good graphic that you can feel its true.

if you like living or interacting with someone like on your own try:

-sims2

-my sims or my sims kingdom

-animal crossing

If you like adventure:

-super mario bros.

-kung fu panda

-kirby

If you like racing or mario games:

-mario kart

-mario party

-super mario bros(like i said earlier)

For racing, i agree with everyone it is Mario DS, there is replay ability and there is variety with the character base. Also allows you to practically use any vehicle not just character specific vehicles. now online, just steer clear and understand that there are people out there (most of them) that will use a in game feature to win a race minutes ahead of you no matter how hard you try. Want to look it up called "snaking"

For party type game, i go with mario vs sonic. With how much is needed to fully complete the game does also offer huge replay fun. Yes going through some of the same games, but with a different character which each character is unique on how it preforms and how you manage the character during the event.

Best game ive played that introduces all the features of the DS, is Zelda and the phantom hourglass. The gameplay is great, doesnt take long to get use to playing with mostly stylus. The story line is good and humorous most of the time which keeps me interested. Does make you think as well. Does make you think outside of the box a lot to manipulate your DS system.

Best Retro game is made by the recently rerelease of SNES/PSX port Chrono Trigger. Nuff said. The game still holds the title of one of the best RPGs of all time, with the solid story, powerful music themes, overall feel and look of the game. The game also adds a new game + feature so things you missed can go back without having to actually start over with your characters.

All these games are different but have 1 thing in common, are extremely fun and are replayable which is important to me when choosing a game.

I've played a lot of DS games, and my favorite of all time is Mario Kart DS.

It's easy to get started, tons of fun, very high replaybility.

Mario Party because I like mini games a lot. Mario Kart for racing and also because mini games.

mario definitely kicks major butt on the ds.

spore is alright, get's boring easy though.

wario touched is fun also, but it can get a bit repetitive.

my current favorite is "the world ends with you."
