Can't serve in the Military

Can't Adopt

Can't volunteer in the Boy Scouts

Can't be Mormon

Can't walk down the street holding hands without being called F a g g o t s

Can't live with their parents because they threw them out of the house

Can't donate blood

Can't be openly Gay at work or you might get fired

Can't be a Teacher or be allowed around small children

Can't be a Professional Athlete

List goes on and on

It depends on where you live.

In some places it is illegal to "engage in homosexual activities". Punishments range from fines, to imprisonment, to death.

Some places allow employers to fire homosexual employees.

In many areas marriages between same sex couples are not legally recognised. In some places de-facto relationships between same sex couples are not legally recognised. Both of these things can lead to other difficulties, such as not being allowed to make medical choices for your partner, not being recognised as a parent to your children, as well as financial problems. Particuarily if the couple splits up, their is no child support; if one partner dies, the remaining partner may not be allowed to keep the children or claim death benefits.

Laws regarding children also vary from place to place. In some areas, two parents can be listed on a birth cirtificate, regardless of gender. In other, the non-biological parent has to apply for adoption (which may not be granted), and in some places even this option is not available.

Many places to not allow same sex couple to adopt, foster, or use IVF or surrogacy organisations.

I believe that in some place homosexual people are also not allowed to donate blood.

There are obviously a lot of things that need to be changed to make our legal systems more legal.

Where I live, a person can be released from his job if he is found out to be gay.

besides marriage, just stupid people that think gay people are not as good as anybody else..

lots of people on this planet, all are just as good as the next.its the people that put others down that are the bad folks of society

depending on where you are you may not be able to get married to your partner, Also, you do not get the same benefits, some adoptions agencies will not let you adopt. There are many things.

They are a couple. Many couples never get married.

depending on where you live you may not be able to get married or adopt children. if your still in school you'll get picked on alot.

but i think its worth it. your your own person. do what makes you happy.
