DO U EVER GIVE GIFT CARDS FOR CHRISTMAS???AMD WHAT KIND AND TO WHO??

I am this year, but have to be careful where you give the cards from as alot of the stores are closing after the first of the year.

I am giving gas gift cards to my nephews. Mall gift cards to the girls. ( they are teenagers!) My brother and his wife are getting gift cards to their favorite restaurant. I am giving Mom a gift card to her favorite salon. For the younger ones, I am giving toys.

I wish I could, my dad won't let us give gift card. He thinks they are the "cheap way out" And if you buy them then (obviously) that person will know how much you spent on them. I think it is an awesome idea though, i mean that person can buy whatever he or she wants!

I've received them as gifts, but i like giving cash to my family. Everyone gets the same amount.
