Where is the fuel filter on a 98 Hyundai Elantra?
I've been told it's under the hood or it's next to the gas tank. Does anybody out there know for sure? Thanks.

it actually is under the hood to many peoples surprise it is in the back right corner under the master cylinder

It will not be under the hood. It should be between the fuel tank and center of the car on the driver's side in front of the rear tire.

it,s not under the hood. it should be on the drivers side back by the back tire. you probably have to jack it up to get to it.
