Can you teach a Chihuahua not to be mean?
I took her in when she was a baby about 8 months ago. Things were fine for a while but she s become very territorial and aggressive toward my 10-year-old cat, who doesn t bother her. I can live with her rough play but not her trying to fight my cat. Anyone have any suggestions?
2 AnswersDogs3 years agoDoes anyone know how to get rid of the flashplayervideo/fvp virus?
It's driving me crazy. So far I've run 2 anti-spyware scans, a full Malwarebytes scan, and a full AVG scan. I've also done a System Restore. The popups disappear for a little while but they always come back and turn up on nearly every page I visit. the only thing I haven't tried is advice given on Ehow.com that said to go into the registry and delete a whole list of things. I don't know what those things are and I'm not very comfortable with that idea. Does anyone have any ideas? I'm running XP with IE8 and Chrome. I've used both those browsers for a long time now but this problem just started about 3 days go. Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
1 AnswerSecurity8 years agoNeed advice about upgrading Dell processor?
I have a Dell Optiplex GS280 small tower. I know it's old but I like it and I intend to keep it, so please don't tell me just to buy a new one. It has an Intel 2.5 Mhz processor, which is pretty slow. I'd love to have a faster one but I'm leery of salesmen wanting to sell me all new guts and software. Does anyone have any good advice about what brand and how fast a processor I can get without having to replace everything else? Obviously, I don't know much about hardware, so please be kind. Thank you.

5 AnswersHyundai9 years agoAnybody know of a good wordart generator?
I've seen Wordle but I can't use word clouds. Or flaming graffiti fonts. I need something that will let me type a line of text and turn it into a wavy line or a circle. Maybe wordart is the wrong name for what I'm looking for. Anybody have any ideas? Thanks.
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoHow do i use Cuttlebug cutting dies in a Sizzix original machine?
The embossing folders work beautifully but the dies just won't cut. I'm using the converter. I've tried them foam side up and foam side down---nothing. What am I doing wrong?
1 AnswerHobbies & Crafts1 decade agoWhat's the best way to use a zip disk?
Can I use it to store programs like Ad-Aware and Spybot and run them from there? Or should I just dump My Documents there and use it only for storage? I really need to free up some space on my computer. Thanks.
5 AnswersOther - Computers1 decade agoCan anybody tell me how to turn UTF 8 into English?
All I wanted to do was download a user's guide for my sewing machine. But it came out in this bizarre language that looks like a blend of Greek, Cuneiform, and Chinese. I have it in Notepad but I have no clue what to do with it. Does anybody anywhere know how I can turn this into something I can read?? Oh, and can you tell I don't know diddly about computers? Thanks.

2 AnswersProgramming & Design1 decade agoCould someone translate 2 little words to French for me?
I'm making a gift tag for a friend's birthday present and I need to know the correct forms of the words 'to' and 'from'. Ridiculously simple, I know, but French grammar baffles me. Thanks in advance.
2 AnswersLanguages1 decade agoStella d'Oros in zone 8b?
How much shade can Stella d'Oros take in South Texas? It's not uncommon for summer temperatures to top 100 here, so I'm reluctant to put them in full sun. But the spot where I want to plant them will be in fairly heavy shade from about noon on. Will they get enough sun to bloom? What about the generic daylilies tagged Lilium? Thanks in advance.
1 AnswerGarden & Landscape1 decade agoCan municipal courts refuse to appoint lawyers in civil cases?
Please don't try to answer this if you don't know. I'm asking for a friend and he's very concerned about it. He's been charged with violating a city ordinance and the municipal court judge told him that the court is not required to appoint attorneys to people who can't afford them in civil cases. Is that legal? Constitutional? Doesn't it deny him due process? Thanks for any thoughtful answers.
2 AnswersLaw & Ethics1 decade agoAnybody know of a good, free spyware blocker?
I don't know where this stuff keeps coming from but I have to run Ad-Aware every day because my computer starts slowing down after just a few minutes of surfing. Is there a free program out there that will block it instead of just removing it after it's in there? Thanks.

http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/stop-NFL-from-rei...
It's a link to a site where you can sign a petition to ban Michael Vick from the NFL permanently. If you agree, please send it to everyone you know and post it in the Pets forum of Craigslist in your city. Thank you.
4 AnswersDogs1 decade agoDo you know about registering domain names?
Say I want to call my new commercial site Hello! (with the exclamation point). I know I can't register hello!.com but hello.com is already taken. Can I register it as something like helloall.com but use Hello! on the home page or will I still be infringing on someone else's domain? Thanks.
5 AnswersOther - Internet1 decade agoSomeone experienced with a bead loom, please?
What is your favorite thread/line/wire for warp and weft threads? I don't want them to show, of course. How does monofilament work? It seems simpler just to buy a big spool of that than 19 different cards of colored silk or nylon, which may or may not match perfectly. Thanks for all suggestions.

I've been told it's under the hood or it's next to the gas tank. Does anybody out there know for sure? Thanks.
