Stella d'Oros in zone 8b?

How much shade can Stella d'Oros take in South Texas? It's not uncommon for summer temperatures to top 100 here, so I'm reluctant to put them in full sun. But the spot where I want to plant them will be in fairly heavy shade from about noon on. Will they get enough sun to bloom? What about the generic daylilies tagged Lilium? Thanks in advance.

I have Stella d'Oros that get about 4 hours of sun. They bloom very well. Of course it stand to reason, the more sun the more blooms. Day-lilies are the same.
