What is the name for the sequence 10+9+8+7...?

Or for any sequence like that which is the sum of the number and all the smaller integers?

    It does not have a name. In fact it is not even a sequence.

    10, 9, 8, 7 ... is an arithmetic progression with a = 10 and d = -1

    10 + 9 + 8 + 7 + ... is an arithmetic series
