Are you ever curious why people ask certain questions, or do you just answer them, and not care the reason?

I'm thinking of the more personal, potentially embarrassing questions-like about sex, and like how should I feel if..., or am I hot? Potentially the answer to those questions can be very hurtful..so why do we ask them?

I think people are willing to put it out there in desperation of a good answer, sometimes not realizing how rude people can be. I wonder about the person and what they are going through. If someone asks if they are hot and they are so not, I skip the question.

I certainly care why people ask their questions, but try not to over think it. I don't try to offend people answering, and always try to push for hope, and try to see the good in things.

Why do we ask potentially harmful questions?

So we can extinguish any doubt that insists on being true. Most of the time that doesn't work out, and doubt reigns victor as belief.
