Ooh! Shaky grounds here! I would recommend not syncing to your mac because backing up an ipod (or touch! i have one too) will not save the music/videos/photos/apps on the touch. It only saves accounts/bookmarks/formatting/settings. If you can still access your pc and need the files you sync to it then you can just reboot it and re onnect. You can also use an SD card or USB drive to transpher files to the mac. If you cannot access the pc, then here is what you can do. First open iTunes on your mac and select account settings and log on to the account used on the pc. If they are the same then just sit tight. :) Then you have to wait for it to download the files purchased on that account. When it finishes log back in to your mac account and then you can go ahead and connect your touch. Doing this WILL reformat the device and may erase your settings. Then set it up as a new ipod and sync it. In doing this you should be able to combine the files from both computers into one account so that you can keep all iTunes files on from the pc on your mac and touch. You may need more detailed instru tions than what I could provide here. Feel free to ask before you risk losing your Touch. Just email anytime at jonbob26@yahoo.com

no. formatting is the worst thing u can do. u will hav to go to a frends, put all the stuff in there, save it to a usb memory stik, and THEN format ur ipod, and then u can put it bak into ur ipod by putting it in, putting in ur ipod, loading all the stuf on the stik , and wala!
