Should it normally take 40 hours to download Openoffice.org?

This is what the little box is telling me....seems like an awful long time......btw...I have dial up.

    Could be. If I recall, it's well over 100 meg. The initial time estimate is usually way off, but I'd still bet on several hours. Go to the library and download it onto a thumb drive.

    Hi this will not take 40hours this time approximated time only, but it cannot take of 40 hours to download. But dial up connection little bit slow, u can try out any internet cafe.

    That is kind of long, but then again OpenOffice is a 150 MB download.

    On dialup yes, it's like writing a novel with a chisel and stone tablet, you'll be there a while.

    but sounds normal for dial-up ..

    well with dialup and a really slow computer maybe

    took me three days to put kde3 on my freebsd box
