What should I do with my tax return.?

This year I will get about $10,000 back on my taxes. I'm unsure what I should do with it. What do you suggest?

I have about $6,000 in credit card debt, and owe $17,000 on my car, and owe $205,000 on my house.

Would you make a large house payment, large car payment, pay off the credit card debt, stash it away in savings? Honestly, what would you do?

I have so many options but don't want to make a decision quickly, and I'm not sure what to do with the money. Thanks everyone!

Pay off the credit card debt. Those things can get you in trouble. Then, with the $4,000 you have left, I would put it into a high-interest yielding CD. These days, it's always good to have some savings stashed away.

Pay off the high interest stuff 1st.....1) credit cards and 2) car loan principal payment. I'd also put a couple of thousand in savings.
