1990 full size blazer need sum help?
5.7 liter engin. Trk has msd ignition just put in 2 mos ago. Last week replaced thermostat and radiator. Last nyt drove it 10 mins later trk was shiftin funny blowin shitload of smoke that smells lyk gas runnin real rich heat was blowin cold n trk overheating shut it off 4 20 mins n the trk wouldn't start coolant isn't circulating its overflowing from the radiator in2 the overflow tank. Got it started and it did the same thing. Oil is clean no coolant no water. Spark plugs are clean also. Any one have any ideas????

Blown head gasket can cause the coolant to push back into the radiator/overflow tank.
The engine is probably pushing combustion gases back into the cooling system and causing the overheat and coolant to backup into the tank.

Could be as simple as air in system or thermostat installed upside down. If it wasnt doing this before you thermostat and the radiator than this is most likely your problem.
