if God is all and everything,?

how come man seems to be deciding what is/ isn't a sin and who is going to hell/heaven?

Update:

Is God is willing to prevent Evil, but not able?

Then he is not omnipotent.

Is he able, but not willing?

Then he is malevolent.

Is he both able and willing?

Then whence cometh Evil?

Is he neither able nor willing?

Then why call him God?

Man doesn't decide anything , God sent His orders and disorders in His Book ; The Holly Qur'an .. and man can choose the right way from the wrong way ,, then God will judge between people in the doomday.. ok..

Man doesn't decide who is and isn't going to hell/heaven, but as far as deciding what is and isn't a sin - some decision needs to be made so you know what to do and what not to do. When it comes down to it though, it's a "best guess" scenario - there is no definitive answer about what is and isn't a sin (apart from in a few extreme cases), we can only try our best to live the best lives we can.

I also think a lot of people like to castigate others by saying they live sinful lives in order to feel better about themselves. This goes for non-religious as well as religious people. For instance, an atheist colleague had a drunken conversation with me at the xmas party, saying how our country was really racist, and he was one of the few who wasn't. I don't think

    a. that he was as free of racism as he thinks, or

    b. that everyone else in our country is as racist as he thinks.

To my mind this is a prime example of an atheist doing what he hates religion for.

Because most church-going Christians are predjudice and THINK that they understand the Bible and think that it really IS God's word. I'm sorry, but it wasn't written by God. It was INFLUENCED by Him.

And also, I think they're trying to force faith upon people who they think are "non-believers."

That's why I'm glad I'm a Christian who isn't a church-goer. Although, I like some passages in the Bible like Psalms and Ecclesiates. Things that I find MORALLY right. I don't use it to tell me what's a sin and what's not.

God gives man the chance to do right and wrong. There is wrong to know who is right, and there is right to know who isn't wrong. If wrong exists, it's only to know whether man should diserve heaven or hell. And God gave us the opportunity to be directly right and not wrong... but of course it was wasted once with the chances of Adam and Eve. It' not their fault, no. Because anyother human would've done the same or even worse.

man will have to decide man made up the God and the Bible and even voted on the books in it they also banned other books that may have made the Bible make sense. It is very clear that MAN has to decide what is right and what is wrong because The god of hate, revenge murder, circumcision, cannibalism, and fornication is made up

I don't think that man decides what is/isn't a sin, or who goes to heaven or hell. Man tries to navigate his way through life learning to do what he thinks and feels is right, or what his faith teaches him is right. We're all just humans trying to navigate our way the best we can.

Because God is not a tight fist ruller and he does give us free will to do what is right and what is wrong

and he does acknowledge the fact that we do sin and it is human nature and still forgives

because if he doesn't give us free will we did be in gruesome pain and suffering

God wants us to know and thank him. He gives us decisions and concience in life of what to do right,

but it is up to you wether you want to do right or wrong

  • When man tries ignore the plain teachings of the Bible.

God says whats right and whats wrong.

We do have a choice though to accept Christ and go to heaven or reject Him and split hell wide open.

Because we are an arrogant species who think we know what God wants whether he does or doesn't. As for heaven and hell ask your friendly priest.

Basically, every religion and even the bible..... is man-made........religions are created by different interpretations of the bible.....and the bible is a bunch of stories told by man.........If God is all and everything?? It could be possible a spiritual being with a higher power exists........but whose to say?
