Well back in June Cody turn heel by Turing on his tag-team partner who at the time was Hard-Core Holly and teamed up with a new guy named Ted DiBiasi. Then when Randy came back in September his started to say how Cody and Ted where not good enough to hold the tag-team titles. Being that Cryme Tyme stole them and they did not go get their titles right away. So this put Cody and Ted into a feud with Randy. In which they where trying prove them self to Randy then at Unforgiven they retain their titles against Cryme Tyme in which another superstar debut named Manu. So now Cody,Ted and Manu called them self priceless. So then Monday after Cyber Sunday their was a match for the world tag-team titles and they lost the titles to CM Punk and Kofie Kingston after they cause CM Punk to lose the World heavy weight title. So next the Monday there was match between CM Punk and Randy, this was also Randy first match since June. So in the middle of the match Ted had interfered and began to beat up CM Punk in which this made Randy mad and he kicked Ted in the head.So the next week Cody and Manu confronted Randy and ask why did he kick Ted in the head and he said that he did them a favor by kicking Ted because his was the weak link of their group. So a few weeks went by then Randy made deal with Cody and Manu unite as one instead of trying to out do one another. So two weeks ago when they the slamys,Randy Challenge Batista and Triple H to a 2 on 3 handicap match. So it was Randy,Cody and Manu vs Batista and Triple H. In which Randy,Cody and Manu won. The same night Randy has said "The Legacy is born" meaning that the group he had made with Cody and Manu will be know as The Legacy being that they are all muit-generational superstars. Then last week after Armageddon when Randy lost to Batista he challenge Batista to a rematch which was really a set-up for The Legacy to jump Batista. Which almost worked out till John Cena can to help Batista then it was then later on that night there was a handicap match made and it was Batista and Cena vs The Legacy in which was going good till the end where is got outta hand in which the ref. called for the bell and being that Batista just got RKOed and was still down after Randy told Cody and Manu to keep Cena down so he can kick Batista in the head

Cody was doing a storyline with Bob Holly. They ended up teaming up. Then Cody turned on him. Cody turned heel and joined forces with Teddy Jr. (Dibiase's son). They were then Tag Champs. Randy kept seeing they were worthy of helping. So now they have a stable called The Legacy. It's still new, but it is happening. Randy is basically taking the boys under his wing and making them stars. Cody is doing an amazing job as heel. I think he made a right choice in joining forces with Randy. Things like this happen all the time. It's the way story line's form.
