    Oh aight here ya go.

It's cuz alright the men's three-point line used to be the same line as the women's three-point line. Then about two weeks ago...ish, they moved the men's three-point line back one foot. So now, they have the men's three-point line one foot behind the women's three-point line. They have to have both because both the men's teams and the women's team have home games in the same gym.

    So there ya go!

Source(s): Our local newspaper.. it showed us about the men's line being moved back.

womens 3 is at 19 ft 9 inch

college mens 3 is at 20 ft 9 inch

nba mens 3 is at 23 ft 9 inch

so depending on the arena they play in, it will be two of those 3 lines.

Some college games are played in pro arenas. So they have to put a extra line for the college players to know where to shoot.

  • One line (the closer one) is for the womens basketball while the other line (the farther one ) is for mens basketball.

Women's and Men's are different distances. In some arenas there's a third distance for NBA length. None of these are equal to International length either.
