Broken Tie Road or?!?

I left out way too many details in the other topic so ill say them here cuz i don't know how to reply to my own topics. I own a 2002 Oldsmobile Bravada (SUV) its AWD. I did like 5 donuts in a parking lot and my steering gave out. The dodge man said it could be a broken tie rod and i was reading up on that and it says the wheels will move in any direction when hitting bumps. Its not like that though the steering isnt floppy, its really hard to turn. Power steering fluid is fine and the belts are ok as well. Any suggestions and Prices would be nice :( and also tell me how to reply to this message after. I can't seem to do it. Thanks you :)

power steering went out or if its cold where you are at then it may just be frozen that happens on my car all the time but it always loosens up after about 2 miles of drivin... but just because you got plenty of fluid doesnt mean you put pwer steering problems out of the question...good luck

Probably your power steering pump went out.

But, you need to ask this in Cars and Transportation, under Maintenance . They may be better able to help you. This is the Jokes and Riddles area

    Is your vehicle still drivable?

If so, check your power steering fluid level. Also make sure your belt didn't break. A broken fan belt will cause this, but your battery light and/or check engine light will also be on.

it sounds like the rack-opinion gave out it only about $300 to replace it but if you turn your steering wheel and nothing happens that's the problem call auto zone and they should be able to help more.

    hope this helps.
