Maybe he should let things be. It is kind of difficult to make someone like them. He can take a chance and ask her out but that may ruin the friendship and all. The chance may be worth it in the end. It might be better to let things work out the way they do and she may realize that one day she wants to be with him; or he may want to be with someone else. There are plenty of other girls out there if it does not work out.
