What do hashes do in the P2P program SHARE?

I just need a little bit more information about SHARE. Now that I put hashes' codes in the "Add Trigger", what do I do with them? Or should I just wait?

    hashes are just sums of the files. if your hashes dont match your file is corrupt, or not the same size.
