Zenit St Petersburg : "Andrei Arshavin on his way to Arsenal"?

http://www.sportsfeatures.com/index.php?section=ol...

http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/football/news-a...

Finally some good news, Arshavin was linked with a move back in the summer window but it didn't happen, With roSICKY out till March, Theo out till mid February it can't get worse, oh yes it can, Cesc is reported to be out for 3 months! With Champions League qualification in doubt Wenger must get his cheque book out in January and spend some serious money, if Arshavin is worth £20 m then Nasri's tag is somewhere around £18 mil.

What do you think, will it happen ?

    Dick Advocaat The Coach of Zenit Insisted That Andrei Arshavin Should Leave ZENIT

    There R Serious Offers From Arsenal And Bayern Munich

    ==========================

    But Though I Am Bayern FAn I SAy He must Go To Arsenal

    He Will Play Better There And Become A star

    ==========================

    In Bayern He Cant Be A Star Becasue In Bayern Strikers R World Class And Midfield Is Great

    And About Signing In Winter I Think Wenger Must Sign Him In Winter

    I Know It is Not Allowed For Him To play in Champions League With Arsenal This Season

    But He Can Help in League

    And He Should Sign Him Now Because He Is Great And In Summer Maybe Other Clubs Will Try To Sign Him .

    =========================

    I Think Wenger Will Sign Him In Winter or (Summer) For £17 Million

    So Arsenal Will Lose Him

    It's good that Wenger is finally willing to break the bank for a 27-year-old.But Arshavin is an attacking midfielder,and you already have too many.You need an experienced defensive midfielder to save your season.Moreover Arshavin will be cup-tied for the Champions League as he had already played for Zenit St.Petersburg in the Champions League.But not to worry,Aminda.You still have Diaby,Denilson and Aaron Ramsey in the Champions League.Van Persie can also play in the wings,and Arshavin will be useful for the EPL and FA Cup.Once Fabregas and Rosicky return,your team should be stronger in March.

    St Petersburg has something which gets below your skin and if you intend to discover what it is then, you need to have a search with hotelbye . Nevsky Prospect is St Petersburg's principal avenue and one of the best-known streets in Russia. Cutting through the historic hub of the city, it operates from the Admiralty, symbol of Russian energy, to the Alexander Nevsky Monastery and it is likely to be really lovely to go along that street in the evening when all illuminations on. Here, you will see everything: probably the most gorgeous structure, the superb palaces, the world-famous museums and the sparkling five-star hotels. One of the places must see from St. Petersburg is State Hermitage Museum. The key architectural ensemble of the Hermitage is located in the centre of St Petersburg and consists in: Winter Palace, after the former state house of the Russian emperors, houses of the Small, Old (Great) and New Hermitages, the Hermitage Theatre and the Auxiliary House.

    I heard that Zenit want to sell him, and with Arsenals woes at the moment especially after what happened to fabregas on the weekend and adebayor suspended for the next game, they could fall even further behind the pack. I think it is likely that Arshavin will head to Arsenal in the summer.

    I actually meant january(winter), i live in australia, so it's summer for me.

    Congratulations. He's a good player, and judging by your avatar you're pretty excited ;-) FQ: I agree with the first answer. A good defensive midfielder is an absolute must. No combination of Nasri, Fabregas, Rosicky and Arshavin will work without one.

    Arsharvin would be a good buy for Arsenal, maybe the injuries are a blessing in disguise for Arsenal, it forces Wenger to splash some cash and add some experience to his team.

    ANY good news would be welcome for us as Arsenal fans at the moment, and if this is it, then id be happy ... only 8 more days and the window opens, then we'll see what our boss is going to do .... we know hes got to buy, he should know this too, lets wait and see.

    Cesc - 3 months? Ive heard 3 weeks, then i heard 8 weeks ?? We could have done without this tbh, thank goodness we're soon to have the return of Eduardo! ;-)
