First of all you can't change an AMD for an Intel and second it is almost impossible to replace a CPU on a laptop. On most cases requires the replacement of the motherboard too.Put the labor expense on that too and the cost is higher than get a new laptop.I doubt that your problem is the CPU if your computer is slow. Increase your memory, uninstall the demoware and the other garbage, disable services you don't need,do the proper maintenance and I'm sure it will be OK

you could ought to ascertain what motherboard you've. each and each human being motherboard helps sorts of processors. the beest thanks to attempt it really is to verify your motherboard guide or pass to the corporation internet website and seem it up. from lack of information, i'd recommend you get the utmost sempron processor for safe practices. intel processors are literally not properly matched because you've a amd motherboard. the most perfect amd processors obtainable are the athlon sixty 4 x2 twin cores, yet your motherboard may not help it.

no u cant... laptop parts are much harder to get... ANd if u were to get a hold of a intel CPU for a laptop, u would also have to replace the mother board, and that also means replacing the RAM... SO ur better off just buying a new laptop.
